I was deeply moved today while reading story in the newspapers about this great, amazing woman. So much love and so much courage she had. This evening I'll say a prayer for her. RIP

Very nice post. A good film on this topic, which you've probably seen, is The U.S. vs. John Lennon.

Wow. It's amazing how many problems there are in the world. Before even mentioning child soldiers in spanish class, I never knew about them. A few hours ago I was watching Blood Diamond. This is a great example of child soldiers. In this movie, you can witness the cruelty of having children as soldiers and how violent people are. I thought it was incredible how the children can get brainwashed and think that they will be safe being a soldier In the Blood Diamond, the little kid doesn't even remember that he has a father. He was so insecure and afraid that he just followed everyone else. They drank beer, gambled, and smoked. It was horrible seeing a child holing a...GUN. That image was just unbelievable. This is something serious. It's great that you blogged about this because that way more people are informed about the cruelty to children. And I've noticed all those red dots on your map. I will bet that people will be reading this and thinking about it. I hope someone does something. Anything, even the simplest things will eventually add up and make a difference.
Great post :)
luv ya

Hello
Natha this was a really interesting post that really caught my attention. I didn't know that there were children fighting in war. This is really sad because young people are risking their lives just to fight for the country. This was an excellent post. Great job!!

Natha! I really like how you found a video that fits your post. I also believe that all of us need to take action if we want a better future. And as you said we can't just think or dream about it, we should make something. I don't believe that one person could change the whole world, but it can certainly make a change by influencing others to make things to help our world. Great work! Keep it up.

P.S. Come check out my blog! http://duliopis.edublogs.org
